Ingredients

3/4 cup unsweetened orange juice

1 Tablespoon cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 (15-ounce) can whole beets, undrained

Preparation

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium saucepan; stir until blended.

  2. Add beets to saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook 1 minute or until sauce thickens, stirring constantly. Garnish with orange zest, if desired
