Ingredients
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground cloves
¼tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp grated orange rind
2/3 cup butter, melted
2/3 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/3 cup milk
¼ cup yogurt
1 tbs lemon juice
½ cup chopped walnuts
¾ cup orange marmalade
Preparation
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and grated orange rind, set aside.
- In another bowl, stir together the sugar, melted butter, eggs, milk, yogurt and lemon juice.
- Add chopped walnuts and dry ingredients to the egg mixture, mix until well blended.
- Stir in the marmalade and pour batter into the greased and floured 20 cm Bundt cake pan. Bake at 175°C for 45 to 60 minutes, until done (trick with the toothpick).
- Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then carefully take it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
