Ingredients
2 Ribeye steaks, approx 1" thick
Olive Oil
Pickapeppa sauce
Worcestershire sauce
Salt
Pepper
Preparation
Pour some Pickapeppa and Worcestershire in a pan big enough for 2 steaks. Add 1-2 tbsp olive oil, and mix
Add steaks and marinate for 20 mins, turning occasionally
Preheat oven to 450
Place cast iron skillet in oven while preheating
Remove steaks from marinade. Sprinkle with salt, and coat heavily with cracked peppercorns, pressing spices into the steaks
Remove skillet from oven and place on preheated stovetop burner.
Once skillet barely smokes, add steaks and cook on each side for 30 seconds without moving while cooking
Stick thermometer into steak and put skillet back into oven
Cook until internal temperature reaches 130-135, turning once half-way through cooking
Remove steak from oven, place on plate, and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving
