Ingredients

Crust

2 cups of flour

1/2 cup of icing sugar

1 cup of butter

Filling

1/2 cup sugar

3 eggs

1 cup light corn syrup

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 stick of butter (melted)

a pinch of salt

2 cups of pecans

Preparation

CRUST

Combine the crust ingredients in a bowl until well mixed and then spread on the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

FILLING

Cream together:

1/2 cup sugar 3 eggs

Add:

1 cup light corn syrup 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 stick of butter (melted) a pinch of salt 2 cups of pecans

When well mixed, pour over the baked crust and put back in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
