Ingredients

4 eggs

1 cup dark brown sugar

3/4 cup Karo syrup

1/2 tsp salt

4 T melted butter

1 tsp vanillla

2 cups pecans chopped (reserve some whole to put around edge of pie)

Preparation

Beat eggs; mix in sugar, syrup, salt, butter and vanilla. Place chopped pecans in pie shell. Pour remaining ingredients over pecans. Around edge of pie line whole pecans

Bake at 400 for 10 mind. Reduce heat to 325 and bake an additional 25-30 minutes.
