Ingredients
2 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 package active, dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoon)
1 teaspoon Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Warm Water
2 Tablespoons Butter (shortening or lard are fine)
Preparation
-Pre-Heat oven to 425. -In a Bowl, combine Yeast, Sugar, & Warm Water. -Wait 5-15 minutes for yeast to activate and foam. -Add Butter, & Salt -Add 1 Cup Flour -Mix until smooth -Slowly add more flower and mix until dough is firm -Knead Dough on floured counter about 20 times -Let rest for 15 mins -Place dough on baking device and stretch to fit. -Bake for 5 minutes. -Remove and cool for 5 minutes. -Add desired toppings -Bake for 20-25 minutes
