Poppy Seed Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 yellow cake mix - without pudding in the mix

1 small package instant French vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)

4 eggs

½ C vegetable oil

2 T almond extract plus orange juice to make ½ C

1 C sour cream

1/3 Cup poppy seeds.

Mix all together and pour into a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50-60 minutes

Glaze:

¾ C sugar

¼ C orange juice

½ t each almond extract, butter flavoring, and vanilla.

Mix all the glaze ingredients together.

Remove cake from pan and pour glaze over warm cake.
