Ingredients

2 1/2 ponds lean ground pork

1/4 tsp ground clove

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp salt

1 large onion chopped

1 large stalk celery chopped

1 bay leaf

3 cups water

4 large potatoes peeled and cubed

2 packs refrigerated pie crusts (15 oz each)

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients except potatoes and pie crusts in a large pot. Cover and simmer over med-low heat about 3 hours until water is gone.
  2. Boil potatoes until soft. Mash roughly and add to pork mixture. stir in well.
  3. add to pie in 9 inch pie pans
  1. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes
