Ingredients
4 large eggs, separated
dash of salt
1/4 C heavy cream
1 t vanilla
2 T powdered sugar
2 German sweet chocolate bars
2 T water
Preparation
- Melt chocolate and water in double boiler.
- Beat egg yolks slightly with a fork.
- Remove chocolate and stir until melted and smooth.
- Add cream, salt, and vanilla.
- Stir vigorously.
- Stir in egg yolks.
- Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually beat in sugar. Beat until stiff peaks.
- Fold chocolate into mixture. Put in cups.
