Ingredients

1 cup of butter

1/4 cup of crisco

21/2 cups of sugar

5 eggs

3 cups of flour

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

1/8 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of vanilla

1 teaspoon of almond extract

1 cup of milk

Preparation

Cream butter and crisco together. Gradually beat in sugar until mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add vanilla and almond extract to milk. Fold dry ingredients into batter alternating dry and wet.

Spoon batter into a greased and floured 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour 20 minutes.
