Ingredients

1 (12 ounce) bag broccoli florets

1/2 red onion, sliced

8 fresh sage leaves

2 Tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic salt (or garlic powder, but use less)

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Spread broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle onion and sage leaves over broccoli. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, garlic and pepper. Toss to coat.

Roast in the oven until broccoli is browned and crisp. 20 to 30 minutes
