Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2~2 tsp kosher salt to taste
Preparation
Combine butter and sugar in heavy sauce pan over medium heat. Whisk until thick and boiling (approx 5 mins). Gradually whisk in cream Continue boiling, whisking often until caramel coats the back of a wooden spoon Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla and salt to taste
Store in refrigerator
