Ingredients
2 pound ground beef
2 package brown gravy mix
1 cup water
1 cup red wine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 beef bouillon cube
8 servings mashed potatoes
1 bag 16 oz frozen peas and carrots, thawed
Parsley Flakes , (optional)
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Add minced onion and garlic to ground beef and brown in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat. Crumble up 1 beef bouillon cube and spread over beef.
- Mix Gravy Mix water, wine and Worcestershire sauce in small bowl. Pour over beef. Bring to boil. Add peas and carrots. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes. Transfer meat mixture to 3 quart baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes.
- Bake 30 minutes or until gravy bubbles and potatoes are slightly browned. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
