Ingredients
1 can (14-15.5 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder or 1 fresh clove crushed and loosely chopped
2 tsps curry powder or plain turmeric powder
sea salt to taste
Preparation
Combine ingredients into a food processor and pulse until well blended. Check consistency of the hummus. If it seems dry add just a little more olive oil to give it a creamier texture. Adjust chipotle powder to desired heat.
Serve with fresh vegetables or pita chips
