Ingredients
½ c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 c. sour cream
1 ¾ c. flour
2 t baking powder
1 t vanilla
1 t soda
Topping
½ c. brown sugar
1 T cinnamon
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x9 inch cake pan or square baking dish.
Blend butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs beating well after each egg. Add vanilla.
Combine sour cream and soda, add alternately with sifted flour and baking powder to creamed mixture.
Spread half the batter in prepared pan. Sprinkle with half the topping mixture, Cover with the remaining batter and sprinkle the rest of the topping on top. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
