Ingredients

1 cup sourdough starter

1.5 cups warm water

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 teaspoons salt

3 cups white flour

1.5 cups whole wheat flour

Preparation

mix in bread machine …. put in a bowl and let rise … split into two loaves and let rise to twice the size again …. score and bake starting at 420 and turn down to 390 when bread goes in … cook for 20 minutes.

Sourdough starter add equal parts water and white flour to replace – about 1/2 cup of each.
