Ingredients

The Cake:

1 20-ounce can crushed

pineapple, not drained

2 cups flour

1 cup pecans, chopped

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 cups sugar

2 eggs, beaten

The Frosting:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

2 cups powdered sugar

1 stick butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Cake: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased 9-by-13-inch baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Frosting: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Frost the cake while it is still hot.
