Ingredients
1 large can tomato juice (46 oz)
1 large can whole tomatos (put in blender)
2 large cans tomato paste
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp basil
2 tsp parsley
2 pinches rosemary
3/4 tsp red pepper
3 cloves garlic (pressed)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 bay leaf
1/4 cup honey
1 can tomato soup
1 large package fresh mushrooms chopped
1 green pepper (whole)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In blender combine tomatoes, spices garlic, salt, pepper, cheese and honey and blend until smooth.
Add all remaining ingredients in large pot and cook slowly for 3 hours.
Add 2 lbs group beef or turkey and package italian sausage browned at end of cooking time (optional).
Freezes well
