Ingredients
6-8 yellow squash
1 medium onion (grated)
1 cup self rising flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 egg
1 tablespoon salt
Ground black pepper
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Preparation
-Grate squash and drain. -Grate onion and sprinkle with salt. -In separate bowl mix flour, cornmeal, egg, pepper, and cheese. -Add squash and onions to mixture. -Drop patties in oiled hot skillet and cook until done, turning once.
