Ingredients
1 6 oz can tomato paste (or two 8 oz cans of tomato sauce
1 tablespoon ou’ (tamarind paste)
Juice of one lemon
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon of sugar (optional)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation
Add all ingredients to sauce pan and stir until well blended over medium heat
Serve with meatballs, over pasta or with any other grain.
