Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

1 medium onion finely chopped

32 oz. can whole tomatoes, drained and crushed

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup vodka

1/8-1/4 tsp hot pepper flakes

S&P to taste

Chopped parsley

Grated Romano cheese

1 lb cooked penne

Preparation

Sautee onion in the olive oil and butter. Add tomatoes and simmer 20 minutes.

Add the cream, vodka and pepper flakes. Season with S&P and simmer another 10-20 minutes.

Serve over penne with grated cheese and parsley.
